Dangers/mistakes of poorly designed program for someone with special and complex needs

Paul has personally witnessed and handled several cases of further aggravation of exisiting conditions, injuries, complications and even death (he arrived late at a scene to perform a CPR to try and revive a 49 yr old professional, who had a cardiac when the latter had exercised too hard by himself, thinking nothing could go wrong), due to following wrong exercise programming of either their own or advises from other sources.

Here are some examples of how poorly designed program can cause harm for those who have:

  1. High blood pressures. Certain exercises can cause extreme and adverse fluctuations in blood pressure which can cause stroke or cardiac arrest and thus should be avoided at all costs.

  2. Bone diseases. Exercises to address osteoporosis or osteoarthritis may involve risks of falling, damaging the knees, existing heart capacity or other weaknesses.

  3. Cancers. Issues like lymphedema (unique to breast cancer patients), hemorrhages and infections can occur if wrong exercises are prescribed. 

  4. Psychological problems. Encouraging individuals with such issues to exercise harder or saying that they are not motivated enough can lead to serious complications like mental breakdown, compulsive behaviours, or over training.

The detailed assessment and program design setup cost is only $580. Subsequent training sessions are billed at $180 per hour.
